Food for Thought – Gluten
I use to think that I had no food related problems. That I could eat anything and not be affected by it. (except, you know, the gaining weight part!) Then I decided to repair my gut by doing a gut cleanse. I eliminated gluten, dairy, sugar, alcohol and caffeine from my diet for 21 days. During this time I started to feel much, much better. After the 21 days was up, I reintroduced these items one at a time and found that when I ate anything with gluten in it, I started to feel bloated and gassy and sluggish. I turned Primal a few months later and, as the program goes, I have ditched the grains and gluten for good and feel much better!
